Mail routing is set per domain, so pointing yourcompany.com at us sends all of its mail here, including the mail you already get. Pick something like alias.yourcompany.com and nothing you currently receive is touched.
Where it lives after setup
Signed in, the domain shows up in your account under Your domains, re-checked every day, with the exact DNS records to add shown inline until they are found. Signed out, the setup link is the domain’s only credential, so keep it somewhere sensible; if it goes missing, replace it by proving the domain is yours with a DNS record, and the old link stops working.

Do I need an account to use a custom email domain?
No. Set a domain up signed out and the setup link is its only credential. Sign in first and the domain is saved to your account automatically, listed under Your domains and re-checked every day, so you never have to keep a link at all.
Will pointing my domain at TMailr affect the email I already receive?
Only if you point a domain that already handles mail. The MX record routes all of that domain’s mail here, so use a subdomain like alias.yourcompany.com and nothing you currently receive changes. Proving the domain is yours with the TXT record changes nothing about where mail goes; only the MX record does that.
What DNS records do I add?
Two. One TXT record so we can confirm the domain is yours, and one MX record so mail for it reaches us. We read both and tell you exactly which one is still missing, and DNS changes can take a few minutes to show up.
How does a custom domain help email deliverability?
Mail forwarded through your domain keeps the sender’s own SPF and DKIM, and we align DMARC for the domain, so a receiver like Gmail sees a consistent, authenticated sender and is less likely to send it to spam.
I lost my domain setup link, what now?
Replace it at /domains/recover. You prove the domain is yours with a DNS record, we issue a fresh link, and the old one stops working, so a link that ended up somewhere it should not have is no longer a way in.
Can I use one domain for many aliases?
Yes. A verified domain backs as many masked addresses as you want, and each mask is paused or blocked on its own without touching the rest.
